Everyone loves to be commended for good work that they do,
for accomplishments, for successes. Everyone loves to be appreciated. When
you are told "Good Job" or "Thank you," it just feels good!
The most rewarding part of being a wedding coordinator is the "Happy Brides
and Grooms." It is such an honor and privilege to be such an integral part
of such a very special time in a couple's life. It is a great feeling to be
needed and trusted with such an important day. I love people. I love having
the opportunity and pleasure to work so closely with my couples and their
families during such a happy time in their lives. I want my couples to feel
that everything was exactly as they had imagined, as they had dreamed, as
they had hoped and that they could not have asked for more. I love working
hard to fulfill their visions and dreams of their Perfect Day. I love making
them happy.
These beautiful letters of gratitude, praise and thanks I receive make my
job very rewarding and put a smile on my face every day. These letters make
me proud of the work that I do and remind me every day that I made the right
choice in choosing to pursue a career in the Wedding Industry.
I would like to share their kind words and thoughts with you.

Initially, my fiancé and I resisted hiring a wedding
coordinator. We could do everything ourselves, we argued to family and
friends. A wedding coordinator was certainly not needed by two organized,
efficient people, especially when finances were tight and we needed to stay
within our small budget. Plus, I had heard horror stories from friends about
coordinators who just stopped calling, or wanted them to go over budget, or
just treated them with a snobbish attitude. But I ended up creating my own
horror story by spending all of my wedding planning time worried, stressed,
and utterly miserable.
When a friend recommended that we hire someone at least for day-of wedding
coordination, I met with just one company--Divine Dreams, who seemed more
organized on the phone and through e-mails than other companies I had
considered. At our first meeting, I felt my trepidation fading away Julie
Heth was not only one of the most organized people I had encountered so far
in my wedding planning, but she was also one of the smartest, sharpest, and
sweetest. She immediately made me feel comfortable, and I felt at ease
trusting my wedding to her.
As the date grew nearer, my fiancé and I (both of whom have full-time jobs
that often require overtime work) realized that we were totally overwhelmed.
We needed help resolving some vendor problems--problems that probably would
have been avoided, had we hired a wedding coordinator in the first place!
Fortunately, Julie agreed to help us a la carte with specific vendor issues.
She saved the day, and her updates and professionalism gave us peace of
mind. Plus, her upbeat attitude and sense of humor made working with her an
absolute joy!
Looking back over the wedding planning experience, I sincerely regret not
hiring a wedding coordinator to take care of the details and leave me to
enjoy this wonderful time in my life. But I am so thankful that the last few
months of my wedding planning experience were graced by Julie and Divine
Dreams. Julie's hard work and wonderful personality let me relax during the
last few weeks before my wedding. And on the big day, Julie's confidence and
kindness made all the difference.

Congrats on your engagement! The planning process can be a
very special, fun time if you let it be. I am happy to give a great
reference for Julie Kipfer as a Wedding Coordinator.
Julie was truly a God-send. I am a pretty organized and calm person, but I
knew the "day of" would be a completely different story. I didn't want my
mother or sisters or aunts or bridesmaids working hard during my wedding
celebration. I wanted them to enjoy themselves. So, I felt it would be a
good idea to have a coordinator for the "day of" and it's the best money I
spent throughout the whole wedding process!
Julie is very organized and has "EXPERIENCE", which is important. I've never
been married before, but have attended many weddings. Julie's experience in
handling the 'details' of many weddings really showed and was much
appreciated. She knows what to expect, anticipates a bunch of different
outcomes, and has a solution for every problem or 'hitch' that arose leading
up to the wedding. For instance, early on, I learned that I couldn't get
married in a church b/c my fiance had been married before and a one year
annulment would be necessary. Plan B was to get married where we were having
the reception. Julie offered great suggestions, calmed my fears, and handled
it. No worries!
Since my ceremony & reception were in the same location (Mercury Hall), I
was REALLY stressed and worried about 'the switchover' (changing the Hall
from ceremony seating to reception/dancing room). She did it flawlessly and
quickly! That truly was the BEST part. Can you imagine trying to handle that
'switchover' myself? or have my attendents or family do it??? I actually got
several comments from friends and family about how 'well the wedding flowed,
without any lulls'.
Other thoughts: Julie listens well. Each bride has different things that are
a priority to her, it could be Mariachis, or the father/daughter dance,
centerpieces on the table, cultural customs, etc. Julie doesn't try to make
you conform to what is typical. If you ask her advice about a particular
subject, she has answers and experience, but she never pushes her ideals or
customs on you. You can have the wedding that YOU WANT without the stress of
how it's all going happen. Julie makes it happen.

Planning my wedding was one of the best experiences in my life so far. I
knew a lot about what I wanted but needed a little help with the execution
of the day. I hired Julie Kipfer to be my “day of” coordinator. She went
